Welcome to Relevant Shift

The idea that evolved into Relevant Shift was born about 3 years ago at BACN, the Bay Area Consulting Network. BACN is a group of experienced business to business, independent professionals who bring an extraordinary mix of talent and knowledge to the table, many ex-F500. What, we thought, if we were to work as a team to form an integrated consulting group, bringing coordinated solutions to our clients that really helped them address and navigate all the interlocking, key elements of change? People, Markets, Structure, Process and Brand?

Our ideal client is aware of the need to respond to the changes happening in the world, their industry and their internal culture. They know they need to be successful in making these shifts quickly and across the many aspects of their organization, internal and external. We investigate the opportunities, develop the approaches and action plans, and assist in the implementation the changes—Rapidly.

I admit it, I’m an extravert, an ENFP on the Myers Briggs. I vastly prefer working with others collaboratively. My fondest memory in that regard was my time with GE, working in a 32-person Strike Force, reporting to our leader in Schenectady but deployed all over the world in teams of 2 or more doing change management, M&A and culture integration work, having each other’s back and dinner together after the day’s work.
